The six yards needed to be showcased in all their grandeur or in their sheer fragile beauty. The Sari was meant to be a thing of splendor, something to be cherished. Why not use them to drape windows? That way the weave, the embroidery and the colors would be showcased to an advantage. Perfect panels were made, and windows got themselves a whole new expression. We went through an entire gamut of them to finally come up with designs and styles that would suit American and European homes. Our designers put together textures, weaves, embroideries and colors that would enhance the way windows or pieces of elegantly draped furniture would eventually look.
